It’s the first of November and that means two things- #1 I slept through Halloween and missed Hallelujah Night at church and #2 It’s the beginning of #NaBloPoMo. #NaBloPoMo is an annual event for bloggers that began as a spinoff of NaNoWriMo. During the month of November, bloggers are challenged to write one post per day- including holidays and weekends. I started this challenge last year but fell off pretty quickly. However, I’m a firm believer in trying again! So, here we are!
Before I leap into the fire of November’s posts, I want to give this nod to October’s gifts. The gift that I received during the month of October was the gift of grace, the grace to see ministry come full circle. Two weeks ago, I had the opportunity lead a mission team from my church to Bartica, Guyana. I haven’t been there since 2004! It was nice to see how the town has changed, how the children have grown and assumed positions of leadership, and how I have grown-as a missionary, a minister, and a woman of faith. I hope to share more of these insights with you as the month progresses. For now, please enjoy the refreshing spring waters from Teperu Falls in Cuyuni-Mazaruni, Guyana.
Peace and Blessings!
